Busy Busy Baby Boy

It is so hard to believe that Jackson is over 5 weeks old and almost 12 pounds!! He has been such a great baby and starting to make some noises- too cute!! Here is a recent picture of him in an adorable outfit that Grandma Gwen made for him!!

Adventures in Hartsville

We had a GREAT week in Hartsville with Mom and Dad to enjoy life on the lake for all to enjoy Jackson! While we were in Hartsville Jackson had several adventures!! He had his first bath, his first boat ride and he surprised us all when he rolled over TWICE!!! The last night we were there Rusty caught a 5 pound Bass- not sure which was bigger...Jackson or the fish??

Time is closing in...

It is so hard to believe that my pregnancy journey is coming to an end, but excited for the arrival of Jackson and to begin my journey as a Mom!!!

As things stand right now, I will be admitted to The Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital in West Ashley on Sunday, July 11th at 5:00 and they will start pitocin the next morning. With that being said, unless Jackson decides to come on his own this week (which I pray he does) we will be blessed with a handsome baby boy sometime July 12th!!!!

I am still hanging in there, but honestly I am SO SO ready for Jackson to be here!!! I will have my computer savvy brother here while I am in labor to update the blog on how things are moving along.

He's going to be a BIG Boy.....

Rusty and I went on Wednesday for our weekly check-up (about 36.5 weeks) to find out what Baby Jackson has been up to......

Jackson is head down / face down which is a good thing!! He is already measuring 7.7 lbs and the Doctor believes him to be 8.5 to 9 lbs at time of delivery!!! WOWZIERS!!

Jackson is doing well though with still some room to grow and has a healthy heartbeat, etc. We go back next Wednesday to continue our weekly check-ups, so I am just waiting on him to show his handsome little face!!!!

Tick Tock Tick Tock....

My last Doctor's appointment on Monday, June 7th was for my 35 week check-up, but I measured at 37 weeks. So I am having an ultrasound done next Wednesday morning to check on Jackson's size and a better estimate on my due date. Jackson could be here sooner than we thought!! Whooooo Hooooo!!!! I will post again next week with an update!
