Rusty's Birthday was January 11th and as part of his birthday I framed some pictures that I took of Jackson. Most importantly, Jackson is in Clemson gear and as you know, I am am Gamecock fan- so putting Jackson in Clemson was truly a present. You are welcome Rusty!!!
My parents came into town for a Christmas visit on their way to visit Aunt Debbie and Uncle Mike in Florida on Wednesday. We took Jackson to James Island County Park to meet Santa for the first time. He wasn't really sure what to think about all of it......
It has been a while since my last post and Jackson has been SO BUSY doing SO MANY THINGS!! Jackson is now 5 1/2 months old and is so fun to watch! We started introdcuing food to him mid-NOvember and now he is a pro at eating carrots, bananas, sweet potatos, peas, peaches, apples, plums, and pears. My mom and dad came for a visit early November and mom made a TON of homeade baby food - THANK YOU MOM!! Jackson started Daycare in December and so far is loving that too! The newest news is that Jackson is sitting up and rolling over! It won't be too long until he is crawling......whew! Here we go!
Jackson continues to be a WONDERFUL baby and becomes more of a joy each day!! Since about mid-September he is sleeping through the night, bottle at 6:00pm, asleep by 7:00pm and wakes up between 5:00am and 6:00am. He continues to coo and talk to us in his own language as he begins to find his own voice. His head control is pretty good and he is now able to sit in this bouncy seat and loves it!!
We took Jackson for his 2 month pictures on Sunday and BOY OH BOY could I send my entire bank account on this kid!!!
Just to catch you up on Jackson.... He is staying pretty alert and busy during the day and after a 6pm feeding, he goes to sleep around 7:30pm. He has been sleeping from 7:30pm until 2:30am!! Let's hope this keeps up- this is great for me and my sleep!! Ater the 2:30am feeding he goes right back to bed and doesn't wake back up until it is time to get up for the day at 6am. He is so funny to watch! He is starting to see further and further and it makes my heart melt when smiles at me!! Love it! Rusty's mom, Chena is keeping him durning the day, but on October 1st, he will start daycare. Rusty and I are doing great- just still working on a routine and trying to figure out this whole parenting thing...... LIFE IS GOOD!
Jackson is now 8 weeks old and is so busy!! He has his 2 month check-up appointment this Thursday- with shots- Boo! But I can't wait to see what they say about his weight and growth. I wanted to share some pictures of Jackson during bath time....he LOVES taking a bath!! Special thanks to Grandma Chena for his new stylish bathrobe!! Tooo Cute!
